Annual memorial day of Cofounder Naganuma

Cofounder Myoko Naganuma died on 10 September 1957. She dedicated her entire life to the dissemination of the teachings of the Lotus Sutra for the happiness of many people.

By revering the Buddha through sincere recitation of Kyoten (the Lotus Sutra), we remember her virtues of compassion and religious practice at this ceremony and pledge to follow her example in our daily activities. We also watch a video about her practice and life and reflect upon its significance for us by Hoza (a Dharma circle).

Annual memorial day of Cofounder Naganuma is one of RK’s annual ceremonies. This event is open to anyone, including non-members. We are happy to welcome you all. You can keep your mic and video off.
