A gentle place to begin your week
Our Sunday Service is a gentle, welcoming space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Through sincere sutra recitation with Kyoten, we remember and honour the life and teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha, expressing gratitude for the guidance that continues to support our everyday lives. We also share short Dharma readings and reflect together through Hoza (a Dharma circle), where listening is valued as much as speaking.
Whether you are new to Buddhism, returning after some time, or quietly exploring the Lotus Sutra, you are very welcome here.
What we reflect on together
In recent months, our reflections have drawn on:
These are offered not as doctrines to master, but as gentle mirrors for our own lives.
What Sunday Service offers
Many people tell us that Sunday Service helps them to:
-
Pause and reflect on the direction and meaning of their life
-
Reaffirm the Eternal Buddha as a source of refuge and trust
-
Feel supported by something greater than themselves
-
Begin the week with a renewed intention for practice and daily living
You are free to participate in whatever way feels comfortable. Listening quietly is perfectly fine.
Who is it for?
This service is open to everyone, including non-members.
You are very welcome to join online, with your microphone and camera turned off if you wish.
If you find yourself returning, feeling at ease, and wishing to practise more regularly, we would be very happy to support you in taking your next steps within our sangha.
