The Threefold Lotus Sutra introductory study course

Welcome to the evening study course! This weekly class offers an introductory seminar on the Threefold Lotus Sutra for 20 weeks. We learn its essence and how it is delivered from the beginning to the end of this Buddhist classic, confirming the key points of each chapter. You will find what profound messages are contained and how lively we can embody them in our daily lives.

This class is carried out in a hybrid style. You can attend it at our London Buddhist Centre or through Zoom. It assumes you have completed our Basic Buddhism course in advance for a proper understanding of the Lotus Sutra.

About Dharma Study
The evening study class is one of the ways to learn and understand the Dharma, by which we open the Buddha’s teachings and study the profound spirit. The teaching of Buddhism can be understood by ordinary human reasoning. It is not a sort of teaching that we have no choice but to believe. By understanding the significance of each practice in terms of doctrines, we can more diligently practise with joy. Most important is putting the knowledge we get into practice as taught, enabling us to understand what we studied in the truest sense. To learn more about Dharma study, please read here.
